The „ Quick Complete to get extra items!“ is true, but it will cost at least 9 SP per sim if you wait long enough. Except for episode 6 where the SP-amount for starting the task is below the one for skipping the task.
If you're hard up for cash it's probably best to do all the other tasks and then use the skip episode button to complete the episode. To start these tasks it will either cost lots of simoleons or SP. The costs at the sim will go down a while after starting the task, the lowest amount is 9 SP. Both amounts are mentioned in brackets behind the tasks. If you want you can skip tasks at the menu or shorten tasks at the sim. (Probably depends on the game-level and if you have purchased the boost.) Numbers of sims, clues or items to be found and costs may vary. The times mentioned in the game are based on 3-star-objects.

Therefore we have prepared this topic for the whole Season already, just without detailed tasks.
While the tasks have changed, the numbers of sims, items, times and costs remained the same. Now there are two versions: one lasts 7 days and the other lasts 9 days. These events follow the same pattern since SimChase Season 2.
